Job of the day: Guernsey-Muskingum Electric Cooperative is now hiring for Journeyman Lineman or Apprentice Lineman positions, with two openings available in New Concord, Ohio. These roles involve all phases of electric line construction, operation, maintenance, and service work. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to climb poles, and a valid Ohio CDL (Class A). Candidates should be willing to work overtime, handle call-out duties, and live within 30 minutes of the cooperative’s office. Completion of a certified apprenticeship program or journeyman certification is beneficial.
