Heavy Equipment/CDL A Operator

The Heavy Equipment Operator/ CDL A Operator program is designed to teach heavy equipment operation and related subject matter. Students will learn to operate several pieces of equipment by use of simulators and hands-on training and will earn their CDL Class A Operator's License. This program instructs students in safety on the job including SafeLandUSA Basic Certification, OSHA 10 Hour Certification, CPR, First Aid, and excavation & trenching safety. The student will be prepared for a number of entry level positions in the high paying fields of construction and energy exploration.
