As we continue to honor our veterans today, we highlight one of our own, 2025 Computer Technology alumna Lex Kaser! Marine Corps Private First Class Kaser is joined by Staff Sergeant Marcus Jones today in Ms. Bundy's classroom. Jones serves as our local Marine recruiter, and Kaser is home, working as a recruiter's assistant before heading off to combat training in North Carolina later this month! #BuckeyeProud!

Carson Hicks, an Auto Collision senior, works at Belknap’s Body Shop in Roswell. He participates in our School-to-Work program! #BuckeyeProud!

Happy Veterans Day from Buckeye Career Center!

We began our morning with a ceremony to honor our veterans. Our social studies department recognized several staff members who have served/are still serving, and showed a short video to explain the meaning of Veterans Day. Sergeant First Class Dineen Turnquest was our featured speaker. Turnquest is our local Army and Army Reserves recruiter in New Philadelphia! #BuckeyeProud!

The Joe Carlisle Café is open Tuesday, November 11, and Thursday, November 13th! Please note that we will be closed on Wednesday, November 12, due to a private event. Join us for lunch on those days from 11:30am-1pm.

Our National Technical Honor Society members spent the morning preparing the downtown New Phila flowerpots for winter! This is just one of the many community service projects they will complete this school year! #BuckeyeProud!

This morning, Buckeye Career Center was honored to host the Veteran Appreciation Breakfast & Resource Fair, presented by OhioMeansJobs Stark & Tuscarawas Counties.

Veterans, active-duty members, and their families enjoyed a free hot breakfast and connected with local resources and benefits in the Joe Carlisle Café.

Jeff Neidig stopped by today to speak to our medical academy students about 2nd Family, his home healthcare company! Thanks to Jeff for providing insight to our students! #BuckeyeProud!

A huge thank-you to all the schools and students who joined us for Sophomore Visits this week at Buckeye Career Center!

Today marked the final day of visits with Garaway, Hiland, and Strasburg. Students explored labs, met instructors, and took part in hands-on activities that gave them a glimpse into all the opportunities waiting for them here at Buckeye Career Center. #BuckeyeProud!

Our Leadership Council and some of our National Technical Honor Society members took a team-building trip to the Cleveland Zoo yesterday! They had a wonderful day with great weather! #BuckeyeProud!
