Emergencies happen when you least expect them, and our CDL examiner, Glenda, just happened to be at the right place at the right time! Glenda was working a road test today in Uhrichsville when she noticed a car on fire in a parking lot. Glenda paused the test, grabbed our truck's fire extinguisher, and put out the fire! We want to express our sincerest thanks to Glenda for her quick thinking and willingness to help someone in our community!

Our cosmetology students have been hard at work, perfecting their styling techniques!

By using dental plaque disclosing agents, our Dental Assisting students can clearly see where plaque hides and practice effective brushing and flossing techniques for thorough, professional cleanings.

Judge O'Farrell, who is currently serving as an interim judge for Tuscarawas County, spoke on the topic of appreciation. He also explained the adversity he experienced as a young, aspiring lawyer, attempting to pass the bar exam. Judge O'Farrell faced obstacles before finally passing the exam, which allowed him to appreciate his success in a more meaningful way! #BuckeyeProud!

Our Mr. Frank Polen concluded todays' ACTE Legislative Seminar by reminding leaders that many of us participated in career-tech learning while in school and didn't realize it at the time! How many of you participated in shop class or home economics? Did you learn to weld as part of FFA? If so, you are #CTEProud! Another wonderful message from Mr. Polen!
Superintendent Alsept had the distinct privilege to introduce Governor Mike DeWine at today's ACTE Legislative Seminar. Governor DeWine spoke about the need for students to find their passion, something we inspire to do every day at BCC! He also made note that his favorite part of visiting career centers is when he is able to speak to students and teachers. We thank Governor DeWine for today's address and look forward to sharing more of his comments with our followers soon!
