Congrats to March’s Adult Education Student of the Month, Tiffiny Thompson of the Medical Office Support program. Thompson is a graduate of Sandy Valley and is employed at Hennis Care Centre in Bolivar. She is also a wife and a mother to three children who inspire her to work hard and never give up. Thompson states that she enrolled in the program to set an example for her children. “I wanted to show them that it’s never too late to work towards your goals and create a better future.” Following graduation, Thompson plans to work in a local office and continue to expand her opportunities by continuing her education. She was nominated by her instructor, Mrs. Kelly Cagot. “I believe wherever she ends up in this career, she will be the best at what she does,” commented Cagot. She will be honored at this evening's Board of Education meeting. #BuckeyeProud!

Our second high school Student of the Month for March is Fire/EMS Technology senior Cody Sensbach. Sensbach attends BCC from Claymont, where he wrestles and plays baseball. He is a member of BCC’s SkillsUSA organization. His Fire/EMS Technology instructor, Mr. Nic McCoy, nominated him for the honor. “Cody is the model of servant leadership. He comes in every day and looks around to see what needs to be done. He knows where things belong, and he knows how to get things done. He even comes in on his lunch break to fill bottles and check the truck before class,” said McCoy. He is the son of Michael and Patricia Sensbach. Following graduation, Sensbach plans to enter the public safety industry to use the skills he has learned in lab. He will be honored at this evening's Board of Education meeting. #BuckeyeProud!

Congratulations to our first March Student of the Month, Floral Design senior Annabelle Brewer! Brewer attends BCC from Carrollton, where she has cheered for two years. At BCC, Brewer is involved in FFA, Drug Free Clubs of America, and the National Technical Honor Society. She is employed at Dunkin’ Donuts. Brewer’s Floral Design instructor, Ms. Michele Elliott, nominated her for the honor. “Annabelle embodies the principle of ‘leading from behind’, consistently checking in on her fellow students to make sure no one falls behind. She consistently prioritizes their growth,” said Elliott. Brewer is the daughter of Rachel Brewer. Following graduation, she plans to continue her education by studying finance. She will be honored at this evening's Board of Education meeting. #BuckeyeProud!
