Job of the day: Guernsey-Muskingum Electric Cooperative is now hiring for Journeyman Lineman or Apprentice Lineman positions, with two openings available in New Concord, Ohio. These roles involve all phases of electric line construction, operation, maintenance, and service work. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to climb poles, and a valid Ohio CDL (Class A). Candidates should be willing to work overtime, handle call-out duties, and live within 30 minutes of the cooperative’s office. Completion of a certified apprenticeship program or journeyman certification is beneficial. Check out our Adult Education AutoCAD class! Students will learn how to draw and develop plans and blueprints using a computer. This is a fast-paced class designed to build practical skills. The class meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and the cost is $460. Call the Adult Education office to register at 330.339.2288.
Prom ticket sales will take place in the cafeteria during lunch on April 7th-9th. Tickets are $25 per person, and both cash and card are accepted. Please remember that you must turn in your ticket form application and be approved before you can purchase a ticket.
