We honored veterans this morning with our annual Veterans Day ceremony! This year's featured speaker was Army Retired LTC Roy Ramey. Mr. Ramey, of West Virginia, retired as a U.S. Army combat arms officer after 33 years of service. He commanded a company in Iraq in 2004 and has held several leadership roles in his community. Mr. Ramey spoke to our students about what it means to be a serviceman or woman and the seven values practiced by those who serve. He explained that all, not just those in the service, should demonstrate the values. The values include honor, integrity, respect, duty, selfless service, courage, and loyalty. Thank you to Mr. Ramey for your service and the time spent with our students today!
