Our Mr. Frank Polen had a full-circle moment at the Buckeye Foundation Awards while catching up with Darren Galbraith. Mr. Polen nominated Mr. Galbraith for the Alumnus of the Year honor. Ironically, Mr. Polen served as principal to Galbraith's son, Holden, during his time at River View Local Schools. Holden attended BCC and graduated in 2024. The family ties run deep at BCC! Congrats to the Galbraith family.

BCC students will participate in workforce development days on May 8-9, 2025, and should not report to school. Students are encouraged to use these days for job shadowing, college visits, or to work if already employed.

Marathon hosted a career fair for local students, with our Energy Operations students in attendance! During the event, they learned about Operation Pipeline and the Stark County Sheriff’s Office, experienced various industry simulators, and learned about environmental services, mechanical, and maintenance operations, and more. This experience allowed students to engage with professionals in the field and gain valuable insight into potential future careers.
