Students in our Adult Education Dental Assisting class recently taught proper dental hygiene techniques to Harcatus Head Start students! They also helped the students understand what happens in a dental office, as many of these children will likely go to the dentist for the first time soon! #BuckeyeProud!

Our Hospitality students have been assisting with a mailing for Big Brothers Big Sisters! We enjoy helping non-profit agencies in our area with these types of tasks! #BuckeyeProud!


This week, our Career Connector, Mrs. Beaber, visited Indian Valley to help students discover their future pathways. On Monday, 6th graders got a hands-on introduction to career exploration, and on Tuesday, 7th graders completed career interest surveys to learn more about their potential careers. (P.S. We love it when our BCC family members get to participate!)


Our Natural Resources students have been assisting Stark Parks by cleaning and rebuilding some of their raptor structures! #BuckeyeProud!

Our Graphic Arts and Auto Collision labs joined forces to give our fire truck a fresh new look, making it official for our Fire/EMS students! Now, they have a fully branded BCC fire truck for hands-on training.

Job of the day: The City of Dover is seeking applications for two vacancies.
Positions include an opening at Dover Light and Power and an opening in the Street Department.
Dover Light and Power is seeking a power plant maintenance worker trainee. The Street Department is seeking a street maintenance worker. A CDL is preferred but not required at the time of hire. If the employee does not possess a CDL, they will be required to obtain one within 18 months.
Interested applicants for either position should submit an application to the Mayor’s Office or Service Director’s Office by Friday, February 28th. Applications are available on our website at https://www.doverohio.com/jobs.
