One of the key aspects of the ACTE Legislative Seminar in Columbus is legislative meetings with state lawmakers. Superintendent Alsept, Curriculum, Instruction, & Adult Education Director Mr. Frank Polen, and Marketing Coordinator Shyanne Carroll met with State Representative Mark Hiner and State Representative Monica Robb Blasdel yesterday. Additionally, meetings were held with the office of Senator Al Landis and Representative Ty Moore. They will also meet with Senator Andrew Brenner later today.

Electrical Systems Technology seniors Robin Stevens and Kaitlyn Honor spent Wednesday at the Ohio Statehouse, participating in the annual Career and Technical Education Student Showcase! They were joined by Mr. Septer, Mr. Fockler, Mr. Alsept, Mr. Polen, and Mrs. Carroll. They did a wonderful job talking to visitors, including State Representatives Salvo and Hiner (pictured). The students demonstrated their interactive electrical switchboard and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). #BuckeyeProud!
