Congrats to November Student of the Month, Andria Lab! Lab is a double lab student in Graphic Arts and Floral Design. Lab attends BCC from Tusky Valley, where she is a seven-year member of the band and is also involved in Hope Squad, track, pep club, pep band, and National Honor Society. At BCC, Lab is a member of SkillsUSA, Leadership, FFA, and Drug Free Clubs of America. She works at Material Girl and Maker Space Retreat Center and attends Good Hope Church. “Andria took it upon herself to promote BCC by creating stickers for our Floral Design program, commented Floral Design instructor, Mrs. Sharon Burdette, one of Lab’s co-nominators. “She printed the stickers to put on our corsages and boutonniere orders. The collaboration she used with both programs was impressive.” Her Graphic Arts instructor, Mr. Jeremiah Fierbaugh commends Lab for her hard work and personality. “Her contagious smile and laugh allow her to be well-received as a leader among her peers,” said Fierbaugh. Lab hopes to start her own business following graduation. She is the daughter of Andy and Wendy Lab.
She will be honored at this evening's Board of Education meeting.

Claymont 5th graders had a special visit from our Career Connector Mrs. Beaber. The 5th-grade students did some fun hands-on activities with a few of our BCC students yesterday. These activities help students explore various career pathways.
