New Philadelphia, OH (May 15, 2026) – Several members of the Buckeye Career Center Business Professionals of America (BPA) chapter earned top rankings at the recent Business Professionals of America National Leadership Conference, May 6-10, 2026, in Nashville, Tennessee.

Business & Marketing senior Madison Harmon (Claymont) earned third place in Intermediate Word Processing. Also earning a top spot was Computer Technology senior Kaiden Pack (Strasburg), who finished fifth in Computer Network Technology. Both students are two-time national winners.

Other students who competed at nationals include Business & Marketing students Logan McPeek (Indian Valley) and Jaxon Jones (Garaway), along with Computer Technology students Evan Russell (New Phila), Jackson Rice (BCC), Bobbie Brown (New Phila), Isadore Hanlin (Malvern), and Jaylyn Young (Indian Valley). Buckeye Business Academy at East Holmes students Jenna Troyer and Mosheh Crossan also attended and competed at nationals.

The students are instructed by Heather Irwin (Business & Marketing), Amy Stauffer-McNutt (Buckeye Business Academy at East Holmes), and Bill Alexander (Computer Technology/Network Systems).
