New Philadelphia, OH (April 13, 2026) – Several Buckeye Career Center Natural Resources students earned a second-place team finish at the recent Ohio FFA Wildlife competition at Hocking College. The FFA members competed against 44 other schools and were tested on their knowledge of animal identification, map reading, nuisance species control, and aging of animals.
Team members included Daleney Baker (Newcomerstown), Cass Wright (Indian Valley), Anna Swonger (New Philadelphia), Malachi Martin (BCC), Lilly Milburn (Indian Valley), Laya Shook (Tusky Valley), Lauren Maloon (Alternative Education Academy), Lizzy Smith (Dover), and Callen Karrenbauer (Tusky Valley).
