career fair

New Philadelphia, OH (March 13, 2026) – Buckeye Career Center is inviting local businesses and organizations to connect with students during its annual Career Connections Career Fair on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 11:50 am. to 2:00 pm.

The event provides employers with the opportunity to meet and network with Buckeye Career Center high school students who are preparing to enter the workforce or continue their education in a variety of career fields. Participating businesses will be provided a six-foot table and two chairs to use while interacting with students.

The Career Connections Career Fair has grown into an event that benefits both students and local employers, according to Buckeye Career Center Superintendent Bob Alsept.

“Our students have the opportunity to meet professionals working in their career field and learn firsthand what employers expect for success in the workplace,” said Alsept. “They can also share their resumes and business cards with potential employers. At the same time, local businesses have the chance to meet talented students and expand their pool of candidates for current or future job openings.”

Registration for employers is free, and lunch will be provided during the exhibitor set-up time from 11:00 am. to 11:50 am. The deadline to register is April 12. Please note that the Career Connections Career Fair is intended exclusively for Buckeye Career Center students and is not open to the general public.
