New Philadelphia, OH (February 13, 2026) – Members of Buckeye Career Center’s (BCC) HOSA Future Health Professionals chapter have qualified for the Ohio HOSA State Leadership Conference following top placings at regionals on February 7, 2026. The event was hosted at BCC.

Fourth place winners include Silvia Hernandez Pastor (New Phila) in Dental Terminology; Teagan Hill (Dover) and Kelsie Knight (Dover) in Forensic Science; Haylee Hewison (Newcomerstown) in Health Care Photography; Ethan Rothrock (Tuscarawas Central Catholic) in Healthcare Issues Exam; Ella Dorsey (Claymont) in Home Health Aide; the team of Jessica Agustin-Raymundo (New Phila), Yenifer Brol Sanchez (New Phila), Bilma Dormingo Hernandez (New Phila), and Gabriela Flores (New Phila) in HOSA Bowl; Brynn Wise (Claymont) in Nursing Assisting; Braelyn Spellman (Carrollton) in Prepared Speaking; Kaydee Davidson (Tusky Valley) in Health Care Display; and Hannah Humphrey (Sandy Valley) in Health Care Display.

The students will compete at the Ohio HOSA State Leadership Conference on April 16-17, 2026, in Toledo. The students are instructed by Mr. Lucas Grove (Intro to Nursing), Mr. Jamey Harlan (Exercise Science), Mrs. Mandy Busby (Medical Assisting), Mrs. Michelle Loibl (Pharmacy Technician), and Mrs. Angela Eckman (Dental Assisting).
