New Philadelphia, OH (October 9, 2025) - Buckeye Career Center will host its annual Fall Open House on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The event invites prospective students, parents, alumni, former staff, and community members to explore Buckeye’s wide range of career-technical programs and connect with staff members.
Guests will have the opportunity to tour the facility and learn about the more than 30 high school programs available to local students. Visitors can meet instructors, explore classrooms and labs, and view academic displays featured in the cafeteria. A complimentary meal will be served to all attendees.
A highlight of the evening is the opening of the 2026–2027 high school application at 5:30 p.m. Attendees may complete a paper application or use Buckeye Career Center’s technology to apply on-site. The application will also be available online at www.BuckeyeCareerCenter.org beginning at 5:30 p.m. Students who apply for the 2026–2027 school year during the event will receive a small gift for completing their application.
Buckeye Career Center’s Adult Education staff will also be on hand to discuss full-time, part-time, and career-enhancement options for adults. Information will be available about the Adult Diploma Program (ADP), which offers any Ohio resident age 18 or older who has not earned a high school diploma the opportunity to enroll in a free class. ADP graduates also earn industry-recognized credentials, preparing them for meaningful careers.
Alumni and former staff are invited to gather in the Joe Carlisle Marketplace for light refreshments and a chance to reconnect. Past yearbooks will be on display, and alumni attendees will receive a special gift. The marketplace will also feature items for purchase, including cookies, coffee, flowers, and Buckeye Career Center apparel.
The Fall Open House is free and open to the public. While advance registration is not required, visiting high school students are encouraged to sign in at the cafeteria upon arrival.
