Teaching Professions

  • Examine the field of teaching through actual classroom experiences in elementary, middle, and special education classrooms at area public schools
  • Prepare a portfolio of the year’s experiences to be used for possible college credit after graduation
  • Focus on the nationally recognized standards for teacher certification
