Program Quick Facts

Landscaping students must be able to:

  • Read and comprehend information and instructions as presented in class
  • Meet safety requirements to operate equipment and use tools
  • Stand, walk and work on feet for several hours at a time 
  • Communicate well with customers, managers and fellow workers 
  • Have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to use dangerous equipment and tools
  • Perform the job in both hot, cold, and/or damp climate
  • Handle getting dirty as part of the job

Under Ohio's statewide credit transfer system up to 7 semester hours of credit will be given to the graduates of this program at various colleges listed below:
