This course offers an introduction to plant biology which is beneficial to students in the agriculture related programs and/or college bound. The class deals with the understanding, classification, and identification of plants using dichotomous keys, study of plant structural components and their functions, growth and response, propagation, and the affect on plants of soil, nutrients, pests, and other environmental factors.

Prerequisite: Biology I
