This course is for students who have taken Algebra II. The course focuses on identification of functions and shifting, reflecting, and stretching of these graphs, finding the inverse of a function, finding all real and complex roots of a polynomial by using synthetic division, p/q theorem, Descartes Rule of Signs, quadratic formula, and using the graphing calculator, solving exponential and logarithmic functions, solving and estimating real world problems using regression models, graphing the six trigonometric functions, and their inverses, verifying trigonometric identities, solving trigonometric equations, solving real world problems using laws of sines and cosines, solving system of equations using matrices, and the introduction of limits and derivatives.
Prerequisite: Algebra II
