This is a comprehensive course featuring coverage of geometric terms and processes, logic, and problem solving. It includes topics such as parallel lines and planes, congruent triangles, and quadrilaterals. Various forms of proof are studied. Emphasis is placed upon reasoning and problem solving skills gained through study of similarity, areas, volumes, circles, translations, and coordinate geometry. Additional technology used is Geometer’s Sketchpad, which is explanatory software, and TI-nSpire calculators.
