Intervention Language Arts I-IV

Prerequisite: Must have an IEP

This course is year long, one credit hour course that focuses on a review of basic grammar skills, and the continued development of reading, vocabulary, and writing skills. Students will be exposed to different types of literature that include novels, short stories, nonfiction, drama, and poetry. The class will emphasize writing skills, working to improve and refine writing paragraphs, essays, and business communications. Instruction will be provided by an intervention specialist with modified textbooks and materials and accommodations.
