Spanish I

Spanish I is an introduction to the Spanish language and culture. Students will learn the basic grammar and vocabulary needed for understanding and speaking Spanish. A great deal of memory work and accuracy is required to be successful in this course. Emphasis is placed on listening, understanding, and correct pronunciation of the spoken language. Hispanic culture is an integral part of language study and is introduced through the use of authentic materials and technology.
