Legal Administrative Assistant

  • The Legal Administrative Assistant provides training in: word processing, basic bookkeeping and office skills, English and grammar, transcription, correspondence & communications, terminology, real estate research, estate planning, probate, litigation, family law, contracts, and criminal law. Proper usage of telephone, copy machine, fax machine and e-mail. The program is designed to provide students with the opportunity for a quick career transition and features a rewarding 120-hour externship experience. Field trips, guest speakers, and visits to area legal firms, title offices, courts, and the law library are included. A Notary Public certification will be gained.
