The Buckeye Aspire program (formerly ABLE/GED) through the Buckeye Career Center assists adult students in Tuscarawas County and surrounding areas with math, reading and writing skills, high school equivalency test preparation, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), and transitions to post-secondary training/education and employment. Buckeye Aspire offerings are available at no cost to eligible students.

New Philadelphia: 

- Buckeye Career Center - Monday/Wednesday, 6-9 p.m.

Next Orientation: August 28 & 30 (Monday/Wednesday), 5:30-8:30 p.m.

- OhioMeansJobs Tusc. County - Tuesday/Thursday, 1-4 p.m.

Next Orientation: September 12 & 14 (Tuesday/Thursday), 1-4 p.m.

Dover: 

- Dover First Moravian Church - Monday/Wednesday, 9-Noon

Next Orientation: September 11 & 13 (Monday/Wednedsy), 9-Noon

Uhrichsville: 

- Uhrichsville Nazarene Church - Tuesday/Thursday, 6-9 p.m.

- Newcomerstown Library Annex Building - Monday/Wednesday, 1-4 p.m.

GED Test:

Buckeye Career Center offers the official, computer-based GED test on-site at the school's testing center. Prior to testing, adult students need to set up a personalized account and register for the test through GED.com. The personal GED page is also where students can pay for and take the "GED Ready" practice tests in each of the four subjects (Math, Reasoning Through Language Arts, Science, Social Studies) and view test results with same-day scoring.
