COLLECTIONS REPRESENTATIVE


Duties & Responsibilities – 


  • Reviews payment lists, maintains departmental files and prepares paperwork on debits, credits and other payments

  • Contacts credit bureau for customers reports, checks customer references, updates addresses and gathers additional information as necessary

  • Contacts customers regarding delinquent accounts, verification of repair work before releasing an insurance check, and lost checks and payments

  • Ensures payments are properly credited or applied to customer accounts and Bank general ledger accounts or returns payments if necessary

  • Prepares and manages reports on the kind of status of delinquent account and collection activities undertaken by the Bank, and rates the accounts according to the Bank’s policies

  • Ensures all proper documentation is accounted for including but not limited to call logs, court documents, keys, collateral etc.

  • Forwards the Bank rate information to credit bureaus when necessary

  • Attends the Bank’s Loan Committee’s to report on the progress of the delinquent accounts

  • Makes recommendations on when to order repossession/liquidation etc.

  • Orders liquidations and repossessions when necessary

  • Supports  personnel

  • Answers incoming calls and walk-in customers

  • All other duties required by the Bank



Education & Experience –

 Loan Processing/Closing Clerk

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Receives consumer, residential and commercial loan files from the Loan Officer’s and reviews files for all necessary forms and information according to the regulations

  • Communicates with Loan Officer to resolve any consumer and mortgage application problems.

  • Communicates with legal counsel, title companies, realtors and customers on behalf of the Loan Officer.

  • Gathers information needed for the loan transaction including payoffs, verifications, appraisals, legal work etc.

  • Provides administrative assistance to the Loan Officer and staff, including updating loan data for entry into the lending software and assembling documentation.

  • Ensures loan files contain documents with proper signatures, dates and other relevant data.

  • Assembles and verifies accuracy of loan documentation prior to submitting loan package to loan committee

  • Prepares approved loan packages for closing and checks documents for proper vesting, legal descriptions, closing dates, and signatures.

  • Maintains new and paid residential and commercial loan files. Performs a variety of clerical duties requiring knowledge of departmental procedures.

  • Uses office computers for data input for ordering credit reports, flood certifications, 4506-T IRS forms, photocopying, faxing/scanning documents and organizing and maintain supplies.

  • Answers telephone and written inquiries concerning loan processing and information.

  • Cross markets companion products for consumer, residential and commercial loan products and services as appropriate.

  • Assists other departments on a temporary basis as needed

  • Notary required

  • Handles commercial and consumer non-real estate loans, including HELOC’s

  • Prepares denials

  • Cashes indirect auto/motorcycle deals

  • Balances general ledger accounts

  • Other duties as assigned

Part – Time Teller Position

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Receives checks and cash for deposits to accounts, verifies amounts, examines checks for proper endorsement and enters deposits into computer records.

  2. Cashes checks and processes withdrawals, pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances

  3. Places holds on accounts for uncollected funds

  4. Counts checks and packages coins and currency

  5. Promotes and explains other financial institutions services such as safe deposit boxes, money orders or bank checks

  6. Receives mortgage, consumer loan and other payments and ensures the payments match balances due. Enters payments into the computer. Generates customer receipts.

  7. Balances cash drawer at the end of the shift and compares totaled amounts to computer generated proof sheet. Reports any discrepancies to the supervisor as necessary.

  8. Ensures the teller station is properly stocked with tickets, supplies and forms

  9. Ensures the teller station is properly locked and secure when leaving the station

  10. Reports malfunctions of teller terminals and other equipment used at the teller station promptly to the supervisor

  11. Is responsible for checking night depository bags and recording proper information on the log and processing transactions

  12. Represents the financial institution at community affairs and civic organizations

  13. Answers the phone and customer questions

  14. Provides efficient and courteous customer service

  15. Scan work as needed

  16. Be able to work at any branch when needed

  17. Be able to provide coverage for vacations and sick days

  18. Be able to work both Wednesdays and Saturdays plus any other days of the week needed by the Bank up to 28 hours a week

SLM, LLC has acquired acquire all the assets of an existing business that rents and services portable toilets to pipeline gas and oil contractors in WV, PA, and OH areas.    SLM’s main office is located at 125 Canal Street, NE, Bolivar, Ohio. We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Bolivar location. SLM owns approximately 25 diesel pickup trucks and commercial pump trucks.  In addition SLM owns 200+ utility & cargo trailers and 1,100 porta-potties. This position would assist in maintaining this equipment. The warehouse position is heated.


Maintenance Technician Job Summary

We are seeking a jack-of-all-trades maintenance technician to join our newly purchased oil and gas service company.  This position will be responsible for the main office facility and grounds organization and upkeep and may work alone or with a crew. We are looking for a well-rounded individual who can prepare light mechanic work on a variety of types of diesel pickup, welders, generators, air compressors, various types of trailers, porta-potty rehab and building maintenance.

Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities

  • Minor repair and service to various types of diesel pick up and commercial vehicles

  • Repair malfunctioning equipment and broken structures

  • Prepare regularly scheduled equipment service

  • Create inspection and repair schedules

  • Select and contract specialists on larger maintenance related projects

  • Train employees on proper equipment usage

Maintenance Technician Requirements and Qualifications

  • Must hold a certificate or diploma in a related field or have prior experience

  • Completion of an apprenticeship or technical school training under a professional  maintenance technician a plus

Position Title: Circuit Rider and General Safety Coordinator


Reports To: Member Training and Safety Manager


FLSA Status: Non-Exempt


Basic Function: Serves as a trainer, and technical advisor to member communities for the Circuit Rider program, safety programs, and special projects.  


Essential Functions:


1. Provides contract services via the Circuit Rider program in such areas as: maintaining and operating an electric utility system; organizing or reorganizing an electric department; assisting in budgeting, record-keeping and system planning; recommending consultants; training personnel.


2. Provides hands-on training in operations of distribution systems.


3. Provides safety education and OSHA driven annual training for lineworkers at select member communities on a routine basis.


4. Performs other duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:


  1. High school diploma; two-year technical degree desirable.


  1. Must be a Journeyman Lineperson.


  1. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and electric utility industry NESC and NFPA 70E experience is preferred.


  1. Must be self-motivated, detail and team oriented, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


  1. Must have a CDL license and be willing to travel approximately 90% of the time.


  1. A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience is preferred.

Granville, OH, January 25, 2019 – The Ohio Oil and Gas Energy Education Program (OOGEEP) and the Ohio Oil and Gas Energy Education Foundation are accepting first-time and renewal applications for their 2019 Oil and Gas Energy Education Scholarships now through March 1, 2019.

In 2018, OOGEEP awarded 21 renewal and 41 new scholarships to students attending accredited colleges, universities, and technical or trade schools of their choice. These renewable $1,000 scholarships are designated for students pursuing careers in the natural gas and crude oil industry. To be considered for a scholarship, students are required to submit an essay describing their personal and career goals in these industries along with letters of recommendation and meet other academic requirements. Detailed information about the scholarship can found on the OOGEEP website at https://www.oogeep.org/teacher-students/scholarships/.
